South Peach Avenue Park

The City of Fresno is proud to announce a new park in southeast Fresno: South Peach Avenue Park.

About South Peach Avenue Park

The City of Fresno acquired the 49-acre former U.S. Department of Agriculture Horticultural Crops Research location in 2005 from the U.S. National Park Service and is now planning to develop the property into a sprawling park to best serve the residents of Southeast Fresno. The new park will be constructed in three phases, and funding for the first phase has just become available.

The park will include low-water-use plants and drought-tolerant landscapes, ball fields, play spaces, active and passive facilities, plenty of shade, and universal accessibility.
